Does it hurt?
Yes, more or less depending on the body area. If you've ever been waxed, you will see that sugaring is far less painful. We also sell an anesthetic cream that numbs the targeted area about 80% and needs to be applied 30-40 minutes before the appointment.
Requirement
Please arrive freshly showered. Do not apply body lotion before the treatment. Sugaring requires a minimum hair length of 1/8". After your treatment we clean the sugared areas to remove all residue and apply an antiseptic so your pores and skin remain clean and disinfected to prevent breakouts and ingrown hairs. You will be clean, fresh and ready to continue your day.
BEFORE YOUR APPOINTMENT
For the best experience, arrive with enough hair growth for your selected removal method to grip effectively.Avoid shaving immediately before a sugaring or waxing appointment.Keep the treatment area clean and let your MPM specialist know about any skin sensitivities, recent procedures or products/medications that may affect your skin.Have a question before booking? After your treatment
Recommendations - Do not exercise before or immediately following your treatment. Exfoliate the treated areas in the shower after about a week to prevent bumps, breakouts and ingrown hairs. The suggested timeline to return for additional treatments is 5 to 6 weeks. If you have any questions or concerns, please don't hesitate to contact us.
AFTER YOUR APPOINTMENT
PROTECT THE SMOOTH.
Freshly treated skin may temporarily feel sensitive.Your MPM specialist will provide aftercare instructions appropriate to your treatment area and skin.Good aftercare can help minimize irritation and keep your skin looking and feeling its best between appointments.
